Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge for mileage?
To keep costs low, I do not charge mileage.
Do you charge per guest?
None of my packages charge per guest. I believe in keeping prices fair for all.
How do I guarantee a booking?
The only surefire way to guarantee a ceremony booking is to contact me. Let me know what date you
need an officiant and I will see what my availability is. However, I cannot guarantee attendance on a
certain date until you have finished signing all necessary paperwork. Once this happens, you will not be
cancelled and you will not be rescheduled.
Is there a contract for your service?
To protect both the officiant and the couple, a contract for each ceremony must be signed by all parties.
Are premarital counseling sessions required?
I do not require any type of premarital counseling or tests. However, if the couple should desire I am
willing to offer such sessions and tests on a case-by-case basis.
When will you arrive before the ceremony?
I will, typically, arrive about 30-45 minutes prior to the ceremony. However, if necessary, I may be able
to adjust my arrival time; as needed.
Will you stay for the reception?
I will only stay for the reception if I have been invited by the couple and my schedule permits.
What attire will my you wear?
At each ceremony I always wear a suit. But, if your ceremony theme deems a change of attire, I will do my
best to accommodate that.
Can we change the wording used in the ceremony?
Absolutely. I strive to make your ceremony as you unique and unforgettable as possible. To accomplish
this, I am certainly willing to adapt the script.
Will you attend the rehearsal?
If you request for me to attend your rehearsal, I will attend. However, I do not attend such events
unless the couple has specifically requested me to. Note, though, that the purpose of the rehearsal is for
the purpose of allowing individuals to practice walking down the aisle. Additionally, it can be a great final
chance to ensure that all involved are familiar with, and confident in, the overall schedule of events. The
decision for me to attend your rehearsal lies solely on your discretion.
